Illium Operational Alerts (SMS)

Effective 2 September 2026

Illium AI, Inc. (“Illium”) provides a technology platform to its business customers. Illium Operational Alerts is the text-message channel that tells a designated person when something on that platform needs their attention.

This page describes the program, and is the public reference for the consent language shown to anyone who signs up.

Who receives these messages

Only individuals who have added their own mobile number to an Illium account and confirmed it. In practice these are operations and engineering staff at an Illium customer, and Illium’s own on-call staff. Alerts are not sent to members of the public, or to anyone who has not personally opted in.

What the messages contain

Transactional operational notifications only — no marketing, promotions or sales content. A message identifies the condition, carries a short excerpt of the underlying alert, and links to the console where the full record lives. For example:

ILLIUM URGENT: fragment retirement stalled
Queue has not drained for 3h 20m; oldest unprocessed item 4h old.
console.illium.red/inbox

Message frequency

Alerts are event-driven, not scheduled, so frequency depends on the health of the system being monitored. In normal operation most recipients receive no messages at all in a given week. A repeat of a condition already notified does not send a second message. Delivery to any one number is capped at 5 messages per hour; beyond that a single message states how many notifications were suppressed.

How you consent

Consent is given by the recipient, for their own number, inside the Illium console — a signed-in web form at console.illium.red under Settings → Notifications. The form is behind a login because only account holders can enrol. It requires all of the following:

The exact language beside the checkbox is:

Yes, send operational alerts about my Illium account to this number. I understand these are automated text messages about system and device conditions, that message frequency varies with system activity, and that message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help at any time. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message to end all alerts to that number immediately. We will send one confirmation and nothing further. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at the address below. A recipient may also remove or disable their number at any time in the console, on the same form they used to add it.

Costs

Illium does not charge for alert messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on the recipient’s mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

A mobile number given for alerts is used to send those alerts and for nothing else. Illium does not sell mobile numbers, and does not share mobile numbers or SMS consent information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
